Holiday Fireworks

Every year, the city of Manhattan Beach sponsors fireworks for the Christmas holiday, but not for Fourth of July. Anyhow, it's a pleasant walk from my place, right under 2 miles each way. Many people crowd the Strand, headed in the same direction. Some of the streets are closed off, so that families and friends can huddle while oohing and aahing at the spectacular show. This picture cannot capture the fireworks properly, so you'll have to see it for yourself next year. It's usually the second Sunday of December. It's for free, why not? Ok, parking might be a hassle, but it will be worth it. Happy Holidays.
