Mission Impossible: Quit coffee
Blasphemy, I say! But that's what my best friend K has asked me. My other best friend C had bet me to quit caffeine in the past, which succeeded for ~1.5 years. I'm not a morning person whatsoever, so caffeine helps me be less grouchy and be more alert. When I've skipped a dosage of caffeine, coworkers have asked what's wrong with me. In order for me to quit Starbucks, I would need to go to sleep at a more reasonable time and wake up a littler earlier in order to eat breakfast or bring breakfast to work. Why is my friend asking so much of me? For a diet. She claims that my soy latte and banana bread every morning at Starbucks are too high in fat/calories/sugar. As I mentioned in a previous blog, I'll save $5.20 each morning as well. But I'm not going to try this dare until Monday. I need to get ready for work right now and stop by Starbucks on the way to work...
