Google Local for mobile
Google Local for mobile is something new, but I don't know when the beta testing started. This service is like Google Maps, but on your cell phone. It's free from Google, but you must have an internet plan on your phone and have 98KB of storage space on your phone for the software. Click on the link above to see if it's compatible with your phone (can't be too old). On your phone, visit www.google.com/glm.
I mapped out the directions from my parents' house to my house using this new service. The interface was easy to use and understand. However, it shows directions one by one, so if you're traveling far with many turns, it might be easier to find a computer and print out the directions. With my cell phone and Google, I will never be lost again (knock on wood). ;P
