20K Milestone, woo hoo!
My sitemeter has recorded 20,000 hits since I started blogging on Christmas 2004 (and "no", this does not include my own hits). My archives for this blog goes back through October 2005, but I had used Xanga before Blogger. If my memory serves me right, the average blog life span is 1 year. I want to say that I'm here in the blogosphere for the long haul, but I'm not sure if I will stick with this username. I did start a new blog under other names, including my real name in case I want to do anything professionally. Decisions, decisions, decisions...
For the glass-half-empty readers, this is not necessarily bragging. Being obsessive about my sitemeter encourages to me continue. Somewhere in the black hole (AKA the blogosphere), someone is listening to my rants and raves. I mostly get constructive feedback from my secret admirers, but some flammers pop up once in a blue moon. All in all, blogging has been a constructive outlet to share, ponder, and ________ (you fill in the blank). Hopefully, I will be around to see another 20K. Time for me to hit the sack, since I'm still sick. Need to rest before leaving for another business trip (Mexico, but my customer isn't based in Cancun- darn it!).
