My company's holiday party was held at the Long Beach Aquarium. Besides dinner and dancing, we were allowed to stroll through the aquarium exhibits. I took a ton of shots of course. This exhibit was quite interesting, since they opened up the egg for us to peer into the life of a baby shark before being born. This shark baby was almost ready to be hatched at the time, but should be born by now. You can see it's brothers and sisters are waiting patiently in the tank too.
After dinner, Vegas-style tables were set up for games of poker and blackjack. We were given play money, but the winners received raffle tickets for prizes at the end. I didn't win anything this year, darn! A few years ago, I won both a boom box and 2 annual passes for Disneyland- that was cool. I had skipped the last two holiday parties, but I'm glad that I went this year. Good company, good food- all for free, can't beat that. More pictures to come (as always).
