Explosion of brilliant colors

My friend got a much better shot than I did that night 3 weeks ago (click here for my shot). Look at the multitude of brilliant colors in the dark sky. You guys (and girls) should see it in person next time, I think on 2nd Sunday in December every year in Manhattan Beach. Ok, maybe all fireworks are the same, but I doubt it. The fireworks on New Year's Eve on the Vegas strip are a spectacular show worth admiring, despite the overcrowding. Maybe I can dig up those pics from 1 or 3 years ago. I'm amazed that different shots can be taken by 2 people at the same moment. It's not only the camera itself, but rather the perspective of each person that can make a shot unique. Deep, huh? j/k.
