Wanna sumo wrestle with me?

Since we're on the topic of Japanese, I remembered this particular picture. In October, I ran into sumo wrestlers in Vegas, but none in Japan. My vacation did not overlap with the sumo fights. I wanted to ask the sumo wrestler to take a funny picture where we pretend to wrestle, but I was too embarassed. Oh well.

Last week, a co-worker asked me if I had gained weight (maybe a pound or two from Thanksgiving?). Asians (from Asia, meaning not Asian-Americans) have a tendency to be more open (AKA rude). When I look at my picture with the sumo wrestler, I feel a little less bad about myself. However, he is probably trying to gain weight, while I'm not. Anyhow, it's still a funny picture in my mind.
