Hi smhyla,I am writing to let you know that two of your photos with a creative commons license have been short-listed for inclusion in our Schmap Las Vegas Guide, to be published late March 2006.
[I removed the link, but here's a screen shot]
Clicking this link will take you to a page where you can:
i) See which of your photos have been short-listed
ii) Submit or withdraw your photos from our final selection phase
iii) Learn how we credit photos in our Schmap Guides
iv) Download and preview a sample Schmap Guide.
Our submission deadline is Sunday, March 5. If you happen to be reading this message after this date, please still click on the link above (our Schmap destination guides are updated frequently - photos submitted after this deadline will be considered for later releases).
Best regards,
Ali Moss,

Hmm... Supposedly, the photos in their guide will link to my original photos in my Flickr account AND they will display my Flickr name right next to the picture. Supposedly, this guide is free for consumers to download, but the company does make a profit off the advertising. They had to ask me for permission since I assigned a Creative Commons License for non-commercial use of all of my digital pictures. They are offering publicity for me, but no $$. Hmm... I have 2 days to release the rights for them to use my 2 digital pictures from Vegas (see below). What shall I do?
