My friend had volunteered again to pour at an annual wine tasting. One perk of being a pourer is the option to take the "leftovers". She took a dozen opened bottles home, so we have about 1 week or so. Shortly after, I came over to her house to enjoy some of it with her and other friends. She offered to give me the bottles, since I was a wine drinker (AKA pseudo-alcoholic). What a great friend!! The status on my mission impossible: 5 down, 6 to go.

I was drinking wine every night until I got sick recently. Who can say no to free wine? So I picked up the habit again. Some of the wine bottles are better than others. I tried 3 different types of wine from Vina Robles. It was a pleasant surprise to find a good brand. I wonder if I can find it at the local grocery store. If not, then I will have to make the trek to a wine store, maybe the Sepulveda Wine Company in Manhattan Beach. 6 bottles and counting, cheers!
