I was voted "Biggest Flirt"

When is flirting with someone else ok?
a) When you have a SO (significant other), meaning "it doesn't matter where you get your appetite, as long as you eat at home"
b) When you are casually dating, meaning "there's no ring on the finger..."
c) When you are 100% single and ready to mingle
d) ???

I'm not saying that flirting can be turned on or off, but there are some boundaries for some people. Flirting could be ok, as long as the person is loyal to his/her SO, assuming the SO is ok with it in the first place. I hate to admit that I was voted "Biggest Flirt" during freshman year of college on my dorm floor. At the time, I was embarassed, believe it or not. Actually, my SO at the time lived on the same floor, so of course I was flirting! Despite that tag, I consider myself a loyal girlfriend when I have a SO.

Anyhow, this particular blog is not about me. I think excessive flirting with another person indicates that the person is not in love with their SO, so it's time to set him/her free- only then can he/she continue flirting with a clean conscience. Maybe I'm babbling and/or thinking about this too much, but what do you think??
