Oops, he has been denied.

This is a second-hand story from my friend (let's call him El Jefe), which is so amusing that I want to share. I've told El Jefe that he needs to start a blog, but some guys simply can't be bothered. On a side note, statistics claim that most bloggers are male. Anyhow... Since I wasn't there, I will have to fill in some gaps for this story.

Being hungover one weekend, El Jefe and his b-school buddies decided to have breakfast at a local bar (go figure!). At the end of the meal, one of El Jefe's friends threw down his card for the bill AND wrote a note on the bill asking the waitress to give him a call - ooh la la. A few minutes later, the waitress returned to the table. To his dismay, his card got denied. Oops. Apparently, it was not a credit card, but rather a new debit card with nothing in the account. Oops.

Lessons learned:
1) Deposit money in new account for debit card.
2) Hit on the waitress after paying the bill.
3) Leave a big tip.
